Your work at Dynatest 

Our new Pavement Engineer acts as the pavement bridge between Dynatest’s testing equipment, our software solutions, and our customers. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, the role combines deep pavement engineering expertise with hands-on training, and sales support. 

The goal is to ensure that customers gain full value from our solutions, while enabling sales and R&D to deliver precise and competitive results on a solid technical foundation.

As a Pavement Engineer at Dynatest, you will ensure our clients get maximum value from both equipment and software through expert training, guidance, and support. You will strengthen sales efforts with road and pavement engineering expertise, contribute to customer satisfaction through professional support—both online and onsite—and transform customer feedback into improvements that drive our products and processes forward.

This role involves around 30 travel days per year, giving you the opportunity to work directly with clients around the world.

As our Pavement Engineer your assignments would be: 

Customer Advisory 

• Advise on optimal solutions based on customer requirements, local standards, and project conditions.
• Act as a pavement specialist in customer meetings, providing expertise that supports the sales process.
• Participate in trade shows and conferences.

Sales Support

• Provide technical input for tender processes and sales guidance on individual customer cases.
• Ensure the correct technical specifications of equipment in the sales process.
• Participate in meetings, presentations, and demonstrations for customers.
• Maintain a strong understanding of competitor equipment and software, including their capabilities, limitations, and market positioning, to support our sales strategy and customer guidance.

Training

• Develop and deliver training in Dynatest’s software programs (online and onsite).
• Conduct courses on the correct use, maintenance, and data interpretation of equipment and software.
• Prepare training materials, manuals, e-learning, and instructional videos.

Technical Support

• Provide second line support on technical issues.

Technical Development & Feedback

• Collect and communicate customer experiences to support product development.
• Stay updated on new trends within pavement evaluation and road technology.
• Assist R&D as needed in troubleshooting or product development

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a highly skilled Pavement Engineer with solid experience in pavement testing and a love for customers. 

To succeed in this role, you bring:

Background and Experience

• A degree in Civil Engineering (roads, infrastructure, geotechnics, or materials engineering).
• Solid understanding of pavement structures, materials, and maintenance strategies.
• Experience with non-destructive testing methods in the field is a must.
• Experience with pavement evaluation software.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience from consultancy or public authorities in the road and pavement sector.
• Fluency in English and Danish, written and spoken.
• We expect that you reside in Denmark.

• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to translate needs into practical solutions. 
• Structured, detail‑oriented, and analytical approach to tasks and documentation.
